我国加强0-6岁儿童眼保健

China has vowed to improve eye care and test services for children aged zero to 6 to detect eye diseases in their early stages and poor eyesight, and prevent myopia through timely intervention. Local authorities should see that all neighborhood children receive eye care and test services 13 times before the age of 6, according to a guideline from the National Health Commission (NHC) issued on Wednesday.

国家卫健委6月23日印发指南，进一步规范和加强0～6岁儿童眼保健及视力检查服务，目的是早期发现儿童常见眼病、视力不良，及时转诊干预，预防近视发生。各地有关部门应为辖区内0～6岁儿童提供13次眼保健和视力检查服务。

These services will be provided by township and community-based or county-level health institutions.

检查服务由乡镇卫生院、社区卫生服务中心或县级妇幼保健机构等提供。

NHC said the guideline was part of a comprehensive plan for the prevention and control of myopia among children and adolescents.

卫健委表示，该指南是为贯彻落实《综合防控儿童青少年近视实施方案》而制定的细化内容。

夏粮再获丰收产量创新高

China reaped another bumper summer harvest in 2021, the country's agriculture minister said Wednesday. This has laid a solid foundation for ensuring that the total grain output this year would remain at above 650 billion kilograms, Tang Renjian, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, said during an inspection tour in the city of Sanhe, in North China's Hebei province.

6月23日，农业农村部部长唐仁健在河北三河调研时表示，今年夏粮再获丰收，为全年粮食产量保持在1.3万亿斤以上打下了坚实基础。

Despite unfavorable weather conditions, pests and diseases, China's summer grain output reached an all-time high, Tang said. The planting area of wheat harvested this summer reversed a declining streak of four consecutive years, the minister said.

唐仁健说，今年夏粮克服了不良天气条件、病虫害等多个关口，产量创下历史新高，夏收小麦面积扭转连续4年下滑势头。

Tang attributed the bumper harvest to China's efforts in developing high-standard farmland, adding that the yield per unit area of land also hit a record high.

唐仁健表示，夏粮再获丰收得益于高标准农田建设，今年夏粮单产也创下了历史新高。

Medicines selected through the current round of the Chinese government's new centralized drug-procurement program will be 56% cheaper than normal, on average, for public health facilities that purchase them, according to the National Healthcare Security Administration. The fifth round of the centralized drug-procurement program, which took place in Shanghai on Wednesday, saw 201 companies bidding to provide medicines to public health facilities, including hospitals. Of those companies making bids, 148 were successful on Wednesday, with 251 products being qualified.

来自国家医保局的消息称，第五批国家组织药品集中带量采购6月23日在上海开标，并产生拟中选结果。拟中选药品平均降价56%。此次集采共有201家企业参与投标，148家企业的251个产品获得拟中选资格，采购方为包括医院在内的公立医疗机构。

The centralized procurement system, launched in 2019, has been hailed by experts as a means of boosting drug accessibility for Chinese patients and reducing their financial burden of treatment.

UNESCO said it would examine a proposal to put Venice on its endangered list if the lagoon city does not issue a permanent ban on cruise ships docking there, according to the Italian news agency Ansa.

据意大利安莎通讯社报道，联合国教科文组织称其正在审查一项提案，如果威尼斯不..禁止游轮停靠，就会将这座环礁湖城列入濒危名录。

The United Nations agency said on Monday it will discuss the issue at its plenary session on July 16-31.

If approved, the agency could demand urgent action from the Italian government by next February.

Early in June, Venetians were caught by surprise when a cruise liner sailed into the lagoon city for the first time since the pandemic began, despite an announcement from the Italian government that the ships would be banned from the historic center.
